FROM LOST TO FOUND.

What the devil meant for evil, God turns to his Glory (when we follow Him). This happens to us all. This year it has happened again with me and the transformation of this into it's new story.

There is a season for every story . . . and when we look close stories within stories . . . within stories. . . . that is the walk we walk when being called into Glory, deep onto deep.

This is part of my journey turning this beautiful property into a Prayer Retreat for those looking to deepen their own walk with the LORD. A refuge.

My personal relationship with the LORD and this actual property started when I was a very yound child coming here, to the present as a child of God. Stepping into that role as 'a son of God' is no small matter. It truly does take picking up one's own cross and carrying it everyday in every step, word and deed.

Before coming to know Christ Jesus or even the simple acknowledgement of Him to finally KNOWING HIM . . . I never knew what life was about.... let alone who I was or what I was about in Him. . . .

He has been guiding me at all times even though I called the leading "my intuition" versus what I now know as the Holy Spirit and Him opening up my heart to follow.

I was following God without understanding.

I wrote this in High School for an assignment . . . (1980)

Everyone needs to let themselves go

like the deer,

to run wild, and free

as though

not a care in the world.

Everyone needs to spend time alone

to get away from the hustle and bustle

of their busy lives,

running here and there

but not getting anywhere.

Take some time off,

relax, let yourself go

run wild for awhile.

Psalm 42 came to me when seeking direction for this assignment .

For the deer pants for the water brooks,

So my soul pants for You, O God.

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.

1 Peter 5:7

Cast all your cares on HIM.

Matthew 11:28

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give

you REST

I saw the vision and felt the calling, yet did not know who was calling nor the full understanding or knowledge of the true mission and for who I was creating and developing this land for. I see now I was in training and being deeply cleansed during MY development (as the property was) and called into relationship with Him, Christ Jesus, so to Host more of his children and sons into mission with Him . . . Retreating into the wilderness to witness His work.

God is always doing a work and doing work as Jesus tells us in John 5:17,

“My Father is always working, and so am I.”

Because I did not yet know nor have the baptism of the Holy Spirit I was not seeing Jesus's Light and Life to be fully obedient to the calling as purposed in God's Kingdom. I could not and was not hearing nor seeing Heavens Realm through the snares and chains of this world.

I had to walk through the wilderness and go through the FIRE . . .

and there were a LOT of Lions and Tigers and Bears along my road.... many chains were broken alone the way and snares had to be routed out. Testimonies for all such things will follow in other blogs as they are deemed time to share.
