Grace for Purpose Prayers

Deepen your dialogue with the God of the impossible.

Repeatedly the bible calls for us to pray; pray without ceasing, to pray and not to give up, to be strong in prayer and continue steadfastly in prayer. . .

YET, this is the hardest thing for every Christian to do, to maintain a strong, vibrant and fruitful prayer life.

Nonetheless, this is a battle we must overcome if we are to grow and mature as followers of Christ.

So I am prompted and lead to call fellow believers to walk this walk with me as we strengthen this discipline together having a space and community to commune in Prayer together with resources along with the space to build this needed area of our Christian Life to continue our fight and stand against the enemies attacks.

We start today in prayer with these two scriptures in mind, found in our New Testament.

Romans 1: 16

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek."

Hebrews 12:1

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us."

PRAYER

Lord Jesus,

We praise You, and we honour You. We exalt Your name, Lord.

We pray that we will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, so that we can boldly declare the gospel of Jesus Christ to all who will listen.

King Jesus, fill us with courage. Fill us with the courage to stand and testify of Your goodness and Your mercy. You, Lord Jesus, have lifted us up out of a pit of despair and You have set our feet on solid ground and given us a firm place to stand. For that we praise You.

Lord, Your Word in Acts 1:8 says, "But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Lord, we believe that the Holy Ghost is our helper. We pray that He may help us to grow in wisdom and understanding when it comes to al things concerning the kingdom of God. Holy Spirit, reveal to us the deep and hidden things that are in the Word of God. Fill us with boldness and courage in our walk with Christ.

Empower us to tell all who will listen about the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit, help us to testify about the goodness of God and all that he has done for us. Make us strong Christians who are unashamed of the gospel of Christ.

Father, we pray that you would help us to realize our role within the body of Christ. If we are called to be a missionary, Holy Spirit, empower us to preach the gospel of Christ. If we are called to support those who are preaching the gospel, Holy Spirit, empower us to do all we can to support the advancing of the gospel into the world. If we are called to sing and worship, empower us, Holy Spirit, empower us and give us the courage to use our gifts, our talents, our abilities, all so that we can give glory to God!

Lord, Your Word in Mark 16:15 says, "And He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

Dear Father, in this world that is filled with sin, we pray that you would raise us up to be among those believers who are unashamed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. Let us not be afraid or timid when it comes to declaring Your Word, Lord Jesus.

We pray that Your light will shine in our life and through our life's. We pray that others may see how You have turned our life's around, and may our life point others to Jesus Christ. God, I pray that You will give us wisdom when we speak to people. Let our words point to Jesus Christ as the answer to all things. Let our actions bear witness to the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Lord, should the forces of evil arise to try and discourage us or intimidate us to remain silent, let Your power fall and break every plan and device from the enemy. Be our sun and our sheild, Lord. We humble ourselves before You and declare that we cannot go through this life without You. We need You, Lord Jesus.

We pray that You will deliver us from every stronghold that seeks to silence us. Strengthen us against every foe, guide us and order our steps, lead us through every valley, and be with us on every mountain.

Rule and reign in our life's, King Jesus.
