Thanksgiving; Give us this day our daily bread...a day to gather.

Could there be a better day to push the start button and open the doors to this House of the Lords?

A sanctified (set a part) place to Pray & Praise God abiding in fellowship with our Lord and Savior, as one body.

A national Holiday our whole country celebrates, a day of giving thanks and divine favor.

A national day to feast and fellowship in celebration of family and reconciliation.

Could there be a better way to commence a reconciliation ministry based on prayer and praise.

We are called to give thanks, praising all things & praying for all things. This is a power we bring to the table as co-workers (laborers) with our Father in Heaven.

How many verses in Scripture can you find and know that speak on thanksgiving and the command to do so. Here are a few to meditate on.

"give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you"

"And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him"

"You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God"

"do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God"

Timothy 2:1: "...first of all I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people"

1 Chronicles 16:34: "Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever"

Matthew 26:26: Jesus took bread and "when he had given thanks, he broke it..."

And there is the Psalms where I think God really hooked me line and sinker . . . when i was swimming upstream to meet Him.

  • Psalm 107:1:

"Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!"

  • Psalm 100:4:

"Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!"

  • Psalm 136:1:

"Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures

    forever"

As Christ's family,

may we prevail, STANDING together over the gates of Hell . . . . Thanking God we were given grace to glorify our Lord through the power of praise and worship infused with prayer to overcome trials of this world as one reconciling 'all in all'. . .

may PEACE & FAITH reign.

We have the keys to bind on earth what will be bound in heaven, and to loose on earth that is to be loosed in heaven--

When we believe, our prayers of faith make way for the Kingdom of Heaven to shine, as it is near.

Thy Kingdom come,

thy Will be done

on earth

as it is in heaven.
